Experience
and Service
The corporate executives Kurt and Jeanne Struben have fantastic
backgrounds. Kurt was previously the Executive Chef for the
Essex House in New York as well as the Reichstag in Germany
(similar to the White House in America) where he prepared
food for royalty and government dignitaries. He has opened
6 Hotels for Marriott setting up: menus, Grand Opening Buffets,
and training staff. Jeanne has a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics
and Nutrition. She has her experience in restaurant management,
opening 5 hotels for Marriott as well as specializing in elegant
pastries. Together they have accumulated 55 years experience
in the food industry.
Katering by Kurt is very involved with the Rose Festival Association
and does catering for the corporate chalets at the Indy car
races and the Airshow. We have catered corporate chalets at
the Fred Meyer open as well as consulted for Cycle Oregon.
Weddings and Corporate Openings are some of our favorite events.
We have a great passion for making everything just right and
always have an abundance of food and wonderful hospitality!
